Koji Ueda
Dr. Koji Ueda obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in Molecular Biology (Prof. Yusuke Nakamura’s laboratory). During working as a Researcher in in Center for Genomic Medicine, RIKEN, and an Associate Professor in Functional Proteomics Center, the University of Tokyo, he developed a variety of leading-edge analytical technologies in proteomics and glycoproteomics.
He is currently a Chief in Cancer Precision Medicine Center, Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research (JFCR). His research interests span both development of novel technologies for proteogenomics and cancer liquid biopsy.
He serves as a board member of Japanese Proteomics Society (JPrOS). He is the Japanese team representative for the HUPO initiatives, International Cancer Proteogenome Consortium (ICPC) and Human Immunopeptidome Project (HIPP).
