The AUS-oMicS Early-Mid Career Researchers (EMCR) organising committee and bioinformaticians from the Australian Proteomics Analysis Facility (APAF) are excited to present ‘Data to Discovery: A Multi-Omics Masterclass’ on Saturday, May 17, as a short-course ahead of AUS-oMicS 2025.
The masterclass will introduce participants to multi-omic data handling using a custom-designed educational toolkit, the MultiScholaR package, which will debut at this workshop and provide hands-on training in integrating proteomics, metabolomics and transcriptomics. It is designed for advanced beginner and EMCRs aspiring to a higher knowledge of coding (some prior R knowledge), but we welcome everyone to participate. This event will equip participants with the tools to independently apply multi-omic workflows in their research.
The AUS-oMicS EMCR organising committee are representatives from the Australasian Proteomics Society (APS), the Australian and New Zealand Metabolomics Society (ANZMetSoc), the Australian Glycoscience Society (AGS) and the Australian and New Zealand Society for Mass Spectrometry (ANZSMS).
There are limited in-person spots for the masterclass, so register today, it’s free! Please bring a laptop (with a charger) for the event (a portable mouse is also recommended for ergonomic considerations).
Unable to attend in person? Don’t worry, the event will also be live-streamed via Zoom, which will be provided prior to the event.
Join us for a day of learning, collaboration, and discovery!
